  • Maranatha 3k & 4k Preschool

Ignite Your Passion for God, a Precept Ministries Bible Study

What does it take to fuel a faith that burns bright, no matter what?  At different times in our spiritual journey, we may discover that we've somehow developed apathy toward the things of God. Instead of being fueled by spiritual passion, our faith seems to be running on autopilot--or maybe sputtering to a halt as we seek excuses to avoid spiritual engagement. Through this six-week study, your eyes will be opened to the distractions that can undermine your interest in the things of God, and you'll discover practical steps you can take to ignite a fire that will propel you toward a deeper, more meaningful faith.

    9:00 a.m.

2 Samuel, a John MacArthur Bible Study

David is known as Israel’s greatest king, but he was not a super-hero. He had to fight many battles to establish his throne, and when he did become king, he committed murder and adultery and brought disaster on his family. He was a man with human failings and far from perfect, yet he was also a man after God’s own heart. David depended on God’s grace for forgiveness when he stumbled—the same grace that is available to us today. Join us for this in-depth look at the historical period beginning with David’s struggle to establish his throne, continuing through his sin and repentance, and concluding with the tragic rebellion of his son Absalom.

Teachers: Kathy Houck and Lynn Hummel, Cost: $10

Romans Part 1 - Freed from Sin’s Penalty, a Precept Ministries Bible Study with Kay Arthur

All have sinned. There is none righteous. We are declared righteous by God only by faith in the blood of His Son. Romans 1-5 explains the foundational doctrines of our faith—original sin, justification, redemption, and propitiation. Gain an excellent grasp of the doctrine of salvation!

Women: The Gospel of Mark: The Jesus We’re Aching For

God's heart is moved by your cries for help, your shouts for joy, your unspoken worries. We know Him to be a God of unparalleled power and authority, but Mark's account of Jesus paints Him as a deeply personal and intimate God too. In this study, follow Jesus through His days of early ministry all the way to the cross. It's there that we discover what it means to be the recipients of His excessive compassion and the very reason for His all-consuming passion.

Teachers: Karen Cervenka and Others (No Cost)
