When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
Compassion Ministries is a network of local mission partners and Calvary’s local mission outreach initiatives that serve people in our very own community. These partners are acting as the hands and feet of Jesus, and it is our privilege to work with them to bring hope and healing to others.
We touch people with the love of Jesus by reaching out to them with compassion. We believe God’s justifying grace must not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. God commands us to love Him supremely and others sacrificially, and to live out our faith with care for one another, compassion toward the poor, and justice for the oppressed. We welcome and encourage everyone at Calvary to get involved in helping others by volunteering with the partners listed below.

Compassion Food Bags
Filled bags of food are available at the welcome center, FREE, to pick up and deliver to those in need.
Food in a Backpack: Helping Kids in Need
We will be serving Lake Geneva and Williams Bay this 2022/23 school year to ensure that no child goes hungry over the weekend! We ask for your participation in prayer, donations, and time. Pray for the students, their families, and the staff members who care for them. Consider sponsoring a student for just $80 for the entire year. Volunteers are also needed to pick up, pack, and deliver food. If you are interested or have questions, contact Sarah Lile. sarah@calvarycommunity.net
